Dr. Arslan has graduated from Akdeniz University Medical Faculty in 2007 and started her residency at Department of General Surgery, Dokuz Eylul University. She has awarded the Fellowship of Robotic&Endocrine Surgery Scholarship funded by Turkish Surgical Association and visited Cleveland Clinic in 2012. She completed her residency with graduation thesis on surgical site infections in pilonidal disease in 2013.

Since 2017, she has been working in İstanbul Medipol University. She has been appointed as Associate Professor of Surgery in 2019 and giving lectures in National and International Medical Faculties of Istanbul Medipol University. She was qualified as Fellow of European Board of Surgery in Coloproctology by ESCP and Fellow of Turkish Board of Surgery in Coloproctology by TSCP in 2021.

Dr. Arslan has several published studies and bulletins in national and international journals and organizations on her field of interests including peritoneal metastases, colorectal cancer and proctology. She is member of editorial&review boards of numerous reputable journals.
